One site until it's finished
We don't start your job, disappear onto two others, and come back when someone chases. The team stays on your project through to completion, and you're told about problems as they appear rather than after they've been worked around.

Terry and Steve, by name
You're not handed to a contracts manager you'll never see again. Terry and Steve Hall run the work themselves, which is why clients name them personally instead of naming the company.

Traditional methods and modern performance
Stonework, lime plaster and listed-building detail on one side; insulation, airtightness and thermal upgrades on the other. We won't put a modern build-up onto an old wall that can't cope with it, and we won't leave an old house cold because it's old.

We tell you what we can't verify
W T Hall describe themselves as Baumfit approved installers for external wall insulation and as specialists in low-energy, passive-house-style building. Those are the firm's own descriptions rather than certificates we can wave at you, and this site words them that way deliberately. No trade-body badge appears anywhere on this site, because none has been verified.
Self-described on wthallbuilders.com; no official installer-register entry was found for either claim, and no FMB, TrustMark, NICEIC or Checkatrade membership is claimed.
An honest account of the company's age
The family has built under the W T Hall name since 1983 and Terry and Steve describe themselves as third and fourth generation builders. The limited company is new — incorporated in April 2026. We state both, rather than letting the older number do work the newer one can't.
