Side-return kitchens, garden rooms, rear extensions and one-off new builds
A side-return kitchen extension is one of the most disruptive things you can do to a house you're still living in. It's also the project our clients most often name us for — built and project-managed start to finish, with the mess kept where it belongs.
We take extensions from setting out and footings through to the decorator leaving, including the parts homeowners rarely think about: drainage diversions, party wall practicalities, matching brick and stone, and getting the insulation line continuous where new meets old.
Side-return and rear extensions
Narrow-access side returns, rear and wraparound extensions, garden rooms and orangeries. We set out, dig and pour the footings, build the shell, install the steel where it's needed, and carry it through to plaster, floor finishes and decoration.
New builds
One-off houses from a cleared plot upward — the same team, the same sequence, with the insulation and airtightness detail designed in from the slab rather than argued about at second fix.
Where new meets old
Matching brick and stone, tying into existing roofs, and — most importantly — carrying the insulation and the damp-proofing across the junction properly. Cold bridges at the join are where a beautiful extension turns into a mould problem three winters later.
